He was born in the remote village Patle of Okhaldhunga District. He had contributed his time for social work as a president of Patle Sherpa society in Kathmandu for many years. He is continuing social work through several organizations.

While developing himself from assistant guide to senior guide, he has taken various training apart from his experience. In his 13 years of experience as the senior guide, he has worked with various renowned trekking companies in Nepal. He loves to interact with people from foreign countries, and make sure they didn’t miss the best of nature and culture that Nepal offers. Till now, he has successfully guided thousands of tourists in the spectacular places of Nepal.
